Multidisciplinary Project


1st BGU  MULTIDISCIPLINARY   PROJECT         

Topic: Social Aid Services Project at Pull of San Jose Guamote

Justification:
San Gabriel High School is an institution that follows the philosophy of the Jesuit. The believes and practices of the MAGIS whereas we as teachers are going to lead students to get motivated into their social service work with responsibility ,  participation and honorability because they are representing our school .

General Objective
To create principles, commitment and sense of responsibility about the importance of helping people in everything that is needed in order to strengthen the spirit and human formation by practicing charity, solidarity, help, kindness and love. 
Activities:   
1 - Individually (not in computer but handwritten)
Make a research about: environment, localization, ways of living of the community, culture, how inhabitants obtain food, language of the place (Pull San Jose de Guamote).
              2 - Write an abstract about your personal active participation and experience in the                                     traditional agricultural system of the High Andean  community members.
              3 – Final product : Students should make a video with their personal performance at Pull San                       Jose de Guamote.

Scoring System:  10 points
Ø  Handwritten work investigation should be delivered until Wednesday, May 21st.
Ø  Handwritten abstract about real performance at Guamote until June 6th        
Ø  Creation and design of the video must be presented until June 6th.
Ø  Presentation and exposition of the project until  June 6th.

Topic:  Vegetables production by using orchards at Pedernales
                    

General Objectives:
-To generate principles, commitment and sense of responsibility about the importance of helping people
 in everything that is needed to strengthen the spirit and human formation.
-To put into practice the knowledge acquired in regarding to cultivation.
-To encourage team work at Pedernales:
Activities:
1.          Investigate about Pedernales’ population, the type of work men and women do, and what food they consume.
2.          Name and describe five different kinds of warm weather vegetables people cultivate at Pedernales.
3.          Inquire about planting season, planting methods, transplanting.
4.          As a final product students have to make a video with their performance at Pedernales.
DATES:
Research: activities (1-2-3) March 19th, 2014 (Wednesday)

These activities you have to do it individually,
handwritten not in computer.
